Well I have to stand and salute the incredible Minjae Lee better known on DA as *greno89
I have absolutely fallen in love with his style and the way he uses colour and pattern. The composition and detail within his work are phenomenal. So here is my homage to him.
I have been wanting to use colour in a more dynamic way and was looking back at my old GCSE and A-Level sketchbooks the other day (hilarious: cringe-worthy in places and retrospectively still quite inspiring in others) I used a lot more abstract pattern within my work back then, predominantly in abstract portraits and trees. So you can imagine my awe and enthusiasm when I discovered Minjae Lee's work. Utter genius.
I feel thoroughly inspired to create. The more colour, pattern and detail, the better

Hello! I saw this image recently and was looking for the original artist. I believe now that it is a reworked version of yours. Have you seen this? It was posted on Twitter in Dec 2022 by a Sonia Axis, but she did not provide a source or who did the original. Either way it is beautiful, and I wanted to thank you for creating it originally.
