Description
Watercolours on Watercolour Paper. Slightly bigger than A4.
Please see the description on my first version of this here [link] as it explains the reason and inspiration behind these pieces.
To cut a long story short, after completing the first one yesterday, which was only ever meant to be a sketch and turned into a fully fledged painting, I decided to do a second one with a similar set of patterns but not identical. I decided to use some of the patterns from the first piece but incorporate new ones too, to develop it further.
They're like psychedelic sisters!!
Interestingly I used a much lighter grain and weight of paper for this one. I'm not sure which i prefer... The Georgian paper on the first piece was nicer to work with I think.
I'm really enjoying working in this style now. I feel thoroughly inspired to create. The more colour, pattern and detail, the better
A salute to *greno89 - the main inspiration behind this new work.

My favorite part is around the eyes where the colors meet each other without lines between them and they look like pretty scales bordering the face!
